For 16 years the Köstritzer Spiegelzelt Festival has become an inherent part of the cultural scene in Thuringia. More than 250.000 guests have visited hundreds of performances of over 2.000 artists. The early summer in Weimar without the “Spiegelzelt” is hardly imaginable. The festival is one of the most renowned of its kind in the East of Germany.
Right from the beginning a “Magic Mirrors” tent was the stage of this unique project. It started with a mirrored tent with a diameter of 21 metres and grew to the 26-meter-tent, where 560 guests enjoy the historic atmosphere on the Beethovenplatz in Weimar each night in May and June.
